Noyo Chinese is now available for the iPad. After the success of Noyo Spanish, we decided to apply our interactive vocabulary system to Mandarin. Noyo Chinese pairs Mandarin words and phrases with colorful illustrations, quality audio, both Chinese characters and pinyin spellings, and English translations.
This app contains an all-new set of custom illustrations highlighting Chinese food and culture. With Noyo Chinese, you can attend a traditional Chinese wedding, learning family relationship terms along the way, and then stay for the feast! You’ll learn the words for all the animals in the Chinese Zodiac and eat mooncakes at the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Drop us a line and let us know how you like it!
Hi there, Portuguese learners! Noyo Portuguese, our vocabulary-learning system for Brazilian Portuguese, is now available from the Amazon Appstore. So head that way if you use a Kindle Fire or Android tablet. We included a whole new set of custom illustrations to teach vocabulary specific to Brazilian Portuguese. Visit Cristor Redentor in a hot air balloon, or learn meats by visiting churrascaria.
Noyo Portuguese is also available for the iPad.
Hi there, educators! After the success of Noyo Spanish Immersion, we’ve decided to make Immersion versions of all of our apps. So stay tuned for Noyo French Immersion, available soon through iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play.
Like Noyo French, this app will contain a spiraling curriculum of nearly 2000 French vocabulary items, from simple nouns and verbs to more complex phrases. Except Noyo French Immersion will contain only French, for a target-language-centered learning experience.
We’re happy to announce that Noyo French is now available on iTunes. Like our previous apps, it contains nearly 2000 vocabulary items, and we included some new slides to teach you vocab the vocab you’ll need when packing for a trip and when ordering from a French café.
This app is voiced by Alizée, a native speaker of French and a fellow Bostonian. Check out her bio on the Meet the Voice Artists page!
And stay tuned for Noyo French Travel and Noyo French Immersion, coming soon!
Carolina discusses Noyo’s best features–” The pictures are very clear and get one’s attention while making it very engaging for children. Another great feature is that the voice that goes with every picture was recorded by a native speaker”–and gives practical advice for educators using Noyo.

One comment we heard from educators after the release of Noyo Spanish was that they wished there were a version for Spanish immersion programs. So we made one! Check out Noyo Spanish Immersion on iTunes. It’s the same great content — fun visuals, engaging audio, extensive vocabulary — except that all vocab and assessment questions are in Spanish only.
Do you have a suggestion for us? We encourage and learn from your feedback, so let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org
We’re pretty busy here at Noyo. An Immersion version of Noyo Spanish is days away from release, and you’ll also be seeing Noyo French in the next few weeks. We took some time off to put together an iPad demo video for Noyo apps. If you’re a new Noyo customer wanting some tips and tricks on how to use the app, or if you’re thinking of buying Noyo Spanish but want to learn a little more first, check out the video on youtube or below:
Noyo is happy to announce that our Chief Learning Officer, Mike Sullivan, has created three sets of presentations for vocabulary acquisition that can be used as supplemental teaching tools for Noyo. We’re trying our best to help Spanish teachers everywhere have a more fun and interactive classroom experience.
The three units cover food, professions, and adjectives.
We only ask that if you use our slides, you purchase a copy of Noyo or add it to your recommended reading list for your class.
